Other Requirements
- Four additional upper level (300 or 400 level) courses (12 credits):*

- Two must be International Politics courses
- Two must be “related field” courses (from the list of IS cross-listed courses.)
- Two semesters of Foreign Language above the 120 level = 6 credits or 14 credits if the student must take beginning instruction or 12 credits of Chinese language instruction for students spending the year in China.
- At least one semester study abroad at a JC site
Total credit hours = 51-52 (excluding foreign language courses)
*With the permission of the Politics Department you may count courses taken during study abroad toward the upper-level course requirement.
