(This POE applies to students entering fall 2015)
A designated POE for biochemistry requires replacing certain chemistry courses in the Chemistry POE with selected biology courses. Its structure is based on recommendations prepared by the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Possible schedule for a POE in Biochemistry
Note: It is difficult to complete a Biochemistry POE with a delayed start due to Physical
Chemistry prerequistes and the progressive sequence of BMB I through BMB III.

## Students can choose to take either CH 120, Biology Seminar in the spring of the freshman year.
Note: there is substantial flexibility for the sequencing of the CH 352, CH 418, BI 316 and BI 380 courses. They m ay be taken in any order and can be spread between the junior and senior year.
