Our Goals
- To provide the best possible education in peace and conflict studies to the students of Juniata College, including an emphasis on both practical and theoretical knowledge while preparing students for further education and useful careers. 
- To provide continuing adult education and community outreach in conflict management and war & peace studies through opportunities such as seminars, conferences, public lectures, and workshops. 
- To provide leadership in the development of peace and conflict studies as an academic program through research, curriculum development, consultation and education. 
- To foster cooperation among existing programs and institutions that will strengthen peace and conflict studies in content and methodology, while advancing its legitimacy and constituency globally.
