    Contreras-Amezcua, a recipient of funding through The Baker Institute, recently visited four Mexican migrant shelters in Chiapas as part of a short-term study abroad opportunity in January '22. Their written reflection on that experience and what they learned about the meaning of peace and justice was recently published at Waging Nonviolence.
