Perhaps it's because you recognize that the greatest interest is how human beings create and sustain societies and solve the problems of living together!

Our department incorporates two closely related academic programs, offering students exceptional opportunities to develop strong interdisciplinary perspectives in their growing understanding of social and cultural realities.

In each department students will gain vital experience interning, volunteering, studying abroad, and trying specialized programs like Urban Immersion. Students can mold their own program of study to include social work, sociology, and, well, anything. This provides the opportunity to work at social organizations or pursue graduate study in a variety of fields including forensic science, social welfare, and archeology.
