We award funding for these opportunities.

"[Attending the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize Forum] completely transformed me and gave me great inspiration as to what I can aspire to be. The opportunities that the Baker Institute provides for students foster incredible learning and personal growth."

The Baker Institute makes funds available each academic year to students who want to participate in peacebuilding activities outside of PACS classes.

PACS students may apply to receive funds through our Student Peace Fund to cover their registration, travel, and accommodations to attend the Nobel Peace Prize Forum and the Peace & Justice Studies Association conference. The Baker Institute has additionally supported student attendance at the Newman Civic Fellows National Conference, the Lemkin Summit to End Genocide & Mass Atrocities, the annual Arms Control Association conference, and other conferences with a peacebuilding theme.

Students have also applied for funds to support their individually-conceived research and outreach projects.
