Huntingdon, Pa. — Actor and song-writer Bryan Terrell Clark will present “Finding Your Purpose: From Baltimore to Broadway’s Hamilton” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, in Alumni Hall, Brumbaugh Academic Center at Juniata College. 

The presentation, with question and answer period to follow, is free and open to the public. 

Clark draws upon lessons gleaned from his humble beginnings in Baltimore, Md., as well as knowledge gained from his rise to stardom portraying George Washington in the Broadway hit Hamilton. 

A Baltimore, Md., native and current Los Angeles, Cal., resident, Clark graduated from the Yale School of Drama and Temple University. 

His acting credits include both hugely popular Broadway shows and television programming. On stage, Clark made his Broadway debut in Motown: The Musical in the iconic role of Marvin Gaye. He starred opposite Laurence Fishburne and Angela Bassett in Fences at the Pasadena Playhouse.

Clark recently appeared in the Netflix mini-series When They See Us and Queen Sugar on OWN. His numerous television appearances include CBS’s NCIS: New Orleans, Blue Bloods, Person of Interest, Unforgettable, CSI: NY, and The Unit; NBC’s The Mysteries of Laura; Fox’s Empire; USA Network’s Royal Pains; and BET’s The New Edition Story and Tyler Perry’s House of Payne. 

As a singer, songwriter, and producer, Clark was co-writer on Mary J. Blige’s Irreversible on the album My Life II and has performed alongside such artists as Maxwell, Brandy, Ne-Yo, Anita Baker and many others. Artists Park Productions, Clark’s production company, has a creative collaboration with INE Entertainment, a leading independent production company on a series of digital and television projects. 

He is the co-founder of inDEFINED, a philanthropic lifestyle brand with a mission to inspire and teach young changemakers to use their voices to erase constrictive labels in our society.
