As part of BELIEVE: The Campaign for Juniata College, Beeghly Library will be transformed into a place where engagement, interdisciplinary learning, well-being, and citizenship come together. With that vision in mind, the current library will undergo a dramatic change to become Statton Learning Commons.
Juniata’s esports team more than proved their mettle in their inaugural season, taking second place in the first-ever Landmark Conference League of Legends Championship at Elizabethtown College at the end of March.
In spring 2019, Kimberly Roth, professor of mathematics at Juniata, was presented with the Robert V. Hogg Award for Excellence in Teaching Introductory Statistics from the Special Interest Group of the Mathematical Association of America (SIGMAA) on Statistics Education.

On Saturday evening, October 20, 2018, at a gala celebration concluding the fall meeting of its board of trustees, Juniata College kicked off BELIEVE: The Campaign for Juniata College. With a goal of raising more than $115 million, this comprehensive campaign hopes to generate the largest philanthropic investment in the student experience in Juniata's history.
Placed at the corner of Knox Stadium, at the intersection of campus and community, an Eagle poised for flight serves as a fitting tribute to a man who worked hard to help his players soar on and off the field. The new memorial was dedicated on September 29, 2018 to honor the late Steve Hayes, a dedicated local football coach who passed away December 29, 2016.
Formed at the beginning of the fall 2018 semester, the College's mock trial team first competed at the Guardian Invitational in New London, Connecticut, before tackling the case of the aforementioned prodigal primate at the Friar Face Off, which was held in Olean, N.Y., on November 3 and 4, 2018. The team earned their first victory at the Face Off, which was only their second official competition, when they defeated Allegheny College, St. Bonaventure University, Syracuse University, and the University of Buffalo.
