Grant funding awarded to create Statton Learning Commons at Juniata

HUNTINGDON — A $4 million state grant has been awarded to Juniata College, Huntingdon, for the renovation and expansion of L.A. Beeghly Library to create the Tim & Kathy Statton Learning Commons, both members of the class of 1972.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College's Glaeser Center for Counseling Services hosted Mental Health Wellness Screenings Oct. 10. These screenings looked for signs of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, eating disorders, and alcohol.
Autobiographical One-Woman Play to be Performed at Juniata

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College will be hosting Qurrat Ann Kadwani’s autobiographical one-woman play They Call Me Q, performed by Kadwani herself. The play will be performed at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29. It will be held in Alumni Hall (A-100), in Brumbaugh Academic Center. This event is open to the public, free of charge.
Juniata Professor and Student Receive Awards at PA Communication Conference

HUNTINGDON, Pa. –Sierra Waite, a junior from Houtzdale, PA, attended the Pennsylvania Communication Association’s (PCA) 80th annual conference to accept an award, along with Juniata Chair of Communication Department, Donna Weimer. The conference was held at Penn State Berks and was attended by representatives from colleges across Pennsylvania.
