WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Juniata women's soccer dropped a 1-0 Landmark Conference decision to the Cardinals of Catholic University of America Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore forward Paul Pryor (Westbrookville, N.Y./Burke Catholic) chipped in three of Juniata's (4-8-1, 0-3 LC) six total shots on the day. Sophomore midfielder Alicia Snyder (Jonestown, Pa./Northern Lebanon) added a pair of shots, while senior forward Aimee Radic (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon Area) also fired once at the Catholic net.

The game winning Catholic (8-5, 3-0 LC) goal came in the 9th minute when an unassisted junior forward Courtney Orgill lofted the ball over Juniata junior goalkeeper, Gabriella Ricciardi (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa).

Ricciardi turned away 14 Cardinal fires today, the most saves she has recorded in 90 minutes of play so far this season.

The Eagles play another Landmark Conference game at Susquehanna University on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7:00 p.m.
