MIDDLETOWN, Pa. -- Juniata College men's soccer played to a double overtime 1-1 tie with Penn State Harrisburg Tuesday evening.

Juniata (5-4-1) struck early when senior Jeffery Gring (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) assisted senior David Grim (Boalsburg, Pa./State College Area) to his first goal of the season in the ninth minute.

The Lions battled to tie the game in the 72nd minute when Matthew Hyson assisted Ian Lake on an indirect kick opportunity.

Juniata fired five shots in the contest and only had one corner kick opportunity to Penn State Harrisburg's (7-2-1) 13 shots and eight corners.

Junior keeper Ezra Cassel (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) worked hard to protect the Eagles' net for all 120 minutes of play and charted five saves on the day.

The Eagles next face Catholic University in Landmark Conference play on the road Saturday, Oct. 15, with kickoff slated for 1:00 p.m.
