HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College women's volleyball won all three of its matches last week and held at No. 9 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Coaches poll, which was released Tuesday.

Juniata received 385 votes in this week's poll, trailing No. 8 Carthage and No. 7 St. Thomas (Minn.). Christopher Newport was sixth in the poll with 466 points.

The top five spots in the poll all remained unchanged. Calvin sits atop the poll with 598 points and 22 first-place votes, while Washington-St. Louis is in second with 576 points and two first-place votes. Wittenberg is third with 554 points, followed by Emory with 526 points and Eastern in fifth place with 486.

Juniata (4-2) faces Division II Clarion University on Tuesday night in Clarion, Pa., before heading out to Colorado Springs, Colo., for the weekend to participate in the Colorado College Invitational. The Eagles will face No. 12 Colorado College on Friday, followed by matches against No. 15 Concordia-Moorhead and No. 2 Washington-St. Louis on Saturday.
