HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College Athletics Department will be charging an admission fee for home football games during the 2011 season, while still keeping great Division III and Centennial Conference football action affordable.

Adult tickets will be $5.00, while tickets for children 12-and-under, and senior citizens 62-and-older will be $3.00. Juniata College students and faculty and staff will be admitted free of charge by showing their student ID card.

Westminster Woods residents are admitted free to all Juniata athletic events as part of the "Westminster Passport to Juniata" program.

"We're excited about our upcoming season, and I hope to see a strong showing of Juniata students and staff, as well as members of the Huntingdon community at our games," said Juniata head coach Tim Launtz. "Nothing beats the excitement of college football, and Centennial Conference football is some of the best that Division III has to offer. It's hard-nosed, physical football, and you'll be able to see our Juniata men go up against some of the toughest football players in the country."

Juniata opens the 2011 season this Saturday, Sept. 3, against 16th-ranked Washington & Jefferson College.

The remainder of the home slate will see the Eagles host Gettysburg College on September 17, followed by Johns Hopkins University on October 1 as part of Juniata's Homecoming & Family Weekend. Muhlenberg College visits Knox Stadium on October 22, while archrival Susquehanna University faces Juniata in the annual "Goal Post Game" on November 12. All games start at 1:00 p.m., except the Susquehanna game which will have a 12:00 p.m. kickoff.
