HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College junior middle Ben Wolff (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) has been named EIVA Hay Division Player of the Week, for the week ending April 11, 2011.

Wolff's performance led Juniata past two EIVA opponents last week. He averaged 2.67 kills, .17 assists, .17 aces, .33 digs, .83 blocks, and 3.25 points per set to log 11 points.

Against Saint Francis on Tuesday night, Wolff chipped in eight kills on 11 swings to overcome the Red Flash in three sets. Versus the second best team in the conference, Sacred Heart University, Wolff tallied eight kills on 11 swings once again. He recorded a .545 attack percentage and led the Eagles with four blocks, to squash the Pioneers in three sets.

Wolff currently ranks third on the team with 2.10 kills per set and a .486 attack percentage through 29 matches. He is also third on the squad with 2.64 points per set.

Juniata (18-11, 8-0 EIVA Hay) will return to action in the EIVA playoffs beginning Saturday, Apr. 23, as they face the third seed from the Tait Division.
