HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College men's volleyball advanced to fourth place in this week's AVCA Division III Top 15 Coaches Poll, after losing three games on the road to Loyola University Chicago, Lewis University, and Ohio State.

Fourth-ranked Juniata (11-9, 4-0 EIVA Hay) totaled 180 points in the voting, and moved from last week's fifth spot. Springfield (6-10) finished with 235 points and received eleven first-place votes in the balloting.

Nazareth College (16-3) was second with 213 points and four first place votes, followed by Carthage (14-8) with one first place vote for third place.

NYU (9-5), Stevens (13-5), Baruch (20-10), UC Santa Cruz (6-8, Rivier (24-7), and Philadelphia Biblical (14-4) round out the top ten for the poll.

Medaille (15-5), Emmanuel (20-4), MIT (18-5), Vassar (12-5), and SUNY New Paltz (10-10) complete the 15 teams in the poll.

Juniata fell to Loyola on Friday, Feb. 25, in three sets, to Lewis in three sets on Saturday, Feb. 26, and Ohio State in three sets on Sunday, Feb. 27. The Eagles will play at Harvard University on Friday, March 4 at 7:00 pm.
