CRESSON, Pa. -- Senior forward Erin McGinley (Ashland, Pa./Tri-Valley) came off the bench to score a team-high 13 points and lead Juniata College women's basketball to a 79-51 win over Mount Aloysius College, Wednesday night in Cresson, Pa.

Senior forward Jen Hnatuck (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) and freshman forward Kate McDonald (Pennsylvania Furnace, Pa./State College Area) each had a double-double in Juniata's most lopsided win of the season, which was postponed 24 hours due to inclement weather in the Cresson area. Hnatuck had 12 points and 10 rebounds in her fourth double-double of the season, while McDonald's 12 points and 11 boards marked her third double-double of her rookie campaign.

Paige Robertson (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) dished out seven assists to go with three steals for the Eagles, while junior guard Ashton Bankos (York, Pa./York Catholic tallied six assists on the night.

Juniata (7-3) shot just 35 percent (14-of-40) from the field in the first half, but that was enough to build a 33-21 lead after the first half alone. A 10-0 Juniata run in the first half broke a 9-9 tie at the 15:34 mark, with Bankos and McGinley each chipping in four points in the surge.

The lead reached 18 points following a Natalie Glinsky (Indiana, Pa./Indiana) 3-pointer, a pair of buckets by McDonald, and a Hnatuck lauyup, before six straight points by Mount Aloysius reeled the Juniata lead back to just 12 points at the break.

Another 10-point Juniata run early in the second half left the Eagles with a 49-25 lead at the 15:25 mark of the second stanza, following a trey by Meagan Raville (McSherrytown, Pa./Delone Catholic). The Eagles controlled the tempo from there, only briefly allowing the Mounties to cut the Juniata advantage to less than 20 points.

Mount Aloysius' Lindsy Sammarco and Kaylee Keagy each scored 13 points in the losing effort, with Keagy hauling down a team-high eight rebounds.

Juniata has a 14-day break until it returns to the court on December 29, when it hosts Wilmington College of Ohio in the opening round of the Juniata Holiday Classic.
