HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Three members of the Juniata College field hockey team were named to the 2010 Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All South Atlantic Region, released Thursday.

Senior forward Paula Price (Camp Hill, Pa./East Pennsboro) and junior back Meghan McGlone (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) earned first team selections while junior forward Kim Amrod (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield) was named to the second team.

Before the postseason started, Price led the Eagles with 16 goals and five assists for 37 points. She hit her 50th career goal milestone in the Landmark Conference semifinals to defeat Drew University, 1-0. She also scored in the Landmark Conference Championship game against Catholic University. She was a first team representative last year and nominated second team in 2008 and 2007. She was named the Rookie of the Year in her first year.

MgGlone played another solid year of defense for the Eagles. She had a crucial defensive save in game against The College of Wooster in the First Round of the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship. Last year she earned Defensive Player of the Year in the Landmark Conference as well as a repeat first team honoree. In addition to being a part of the first team in her rookie season, McGlone helped Juniata earn back-to-back Rookie of the Year Awards when she won in it in 2008.

Amrod was selected to the Second Team All-Landmark Conference this year. Last year she was nominated to the First Team in the South Atlantic Region. Amrod trailed Price in statistics this season, with ten goals, six assists and 26 points. In the postseason, Amrod scored twice in the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship. She scored against The College of Wooster in the First Round to secure a 2-0 lead for the Eagles and also against Ursinus College in the Second Round.

The Eagles finished their season 18-4 overall, going undefeated in conference games, 6-0. They closed their season in the Second Round of the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship to the fifth ranked Bears from Ursinus College, 7-2.
