HUNTINGDON, Pa.-- Senior Paula Price (Camp Hill,Pa./East Pennsboro) scored her 50th career goal to lead Juniata College field hockey past Drew University 1-0 in the semifinals of the Landmark Conference Tournament this Wednesday on Winton Hill Field.

Price scored her milestone goal off an assist from Kim Amrod (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield) in the 17th minute of the first half. The Eagles held onto that lead for the remainder of the game.

Price and Molly Snyder (Boalsburg, Pa./State College Area) each had three shots in the game, while Amrod had two. Caroline Phillips (Wilmington, Del./Concord) created some sparks on offense and tallied one shot for the Eagles.

Jill McNeish (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield Area), Megan McGlone (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) and Joyce Eveleth (State College, Pa./State College Area) held down the defense to shut out Drew.

Juniata outshot Drew, 12-4, and out-cornered the Rangers 8-4.

Juniata goalie Moira Nugent (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) saw all 70 minutes of the match but was not challenged. Lauren Fasano took on goalkeeping duties for Drew and made four saves over 70 minutes, and was charged with the goal allowed.

Juniata will host the Landmark Conference Championship game this Saturday, Nov. 6, versus Catholic University.
