WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- Three goals carried King's College past Juniata College men's soccer to shut out the Eagles 3-0, Tuesday evening under the lights at McCarthy Stadium.

Dan Horn scored for the Monarch's with three minutes left in the first half off an assist from Alex Martino. In the 59th minute, Martino had a goal of his own. Tim Meyer topped off the scoring in the 82nd minute off an assist from Max Allegro.

Noah Bowers (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley), Greg Hess (Hanover, Pa./South Western), Chad Kohr (Mount Wolf, Pa./Northeastern), and Kyle Roberts (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) each had one shot on goal.

Senior keeper Brian Trinclisti (Lewistown, Pa./Lewistown) recorded two saves in 90 minutes of work. King's keeper Brandon Raynor logged two saves throughout the evening.

King's finished the game outshooting Juniata 11-5, and also had an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Juniata will face Landmark Conference opponent, Catholic University, this Saturday, Oct. 9, at Winton Hill Field, scheduled for a 3:30 pm. start time.
