CARLISLE, Pa. -- Juniata College beat Dickinson College 4-1 in non-conference field hockey action on Tuesday afternoon at Biddle Field.

Shauna Deschenes (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita) has relentlessly put herself on the boards this season, this time with the first goal for the Eagles in the 14th minute with an assist by Kim Amrod (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield). Paula Price (Camp Hill, Pa./East Pennsboro) had a total of three goals versus the Red Devils. Her first was in the 22nd minute assisted by Amrod, her second in the 25th minute assisted by Deschenes, and her third in the 27th minute assisted by Deschenes.

Lizzie Boorse finished the Red Devil's only goal in the 64th minute of the game.

The Eagles had an overall advantage with 25 shots and eight penalty corners compared to seven shots and four penalty corners from the Red Devils.

Winning goalkeeper, Moira Nugent (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg), saved two shots in her 49 minutes of work. Janelle Howard (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) also defended the net for the Eagles and made two saves in 22 minutes. Katy Schlechtweg played the entire game for Dickinson and saved 14 shots.

Next in line, the team hosts conference opponent Goucher College on this Saturday to play at 1:00 pm.
