ANNVILLE, Pa. -- The Juniata College women's tennis squad wrapped up match play for the fall with a 9-0 loss to Lebanon Valley College, Friday afternoon in Annville, Pa.

Freshman Sarah Lieberman (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing Area) took Lebanon Valley's Shayna Heintzelman to a super-tiebreak before falling 2-6, 6-4, 10-7 at #5 singles, for the closest singles match of the day. Senior Caroline Weisser (York, Pa./York Suburban) threatened to take her #4 singles match against Sammy Burkey to a super-tiebreak, however Burkey sealed the win in two sets, 6-2, 7-5.

Weisser teamed with Maggie Wolenter (Audubon, N.J./Audubon) for the closest doubles match of the afternoon, falling to LVC's Kelly Moll and Jan White at #2 doubles, 9-7.

The Eagles will compete in the Drew Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 4, and Sunday, Oct. 5, in Madison, N.J.
