HUNTINGDON, Pa. - Following the completion of six of the NCAA's seven fall championships, Juniata College is ranked 15th in the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA)/U.S. Sports Academy Division III Directors' Cup standings, which were released Thursday. Juniata earned 153 points through the success of the Eagle field hockey and women's volleyball teams in their respective NCAA championships. The Juniata field hockey team posted the first NCAA tournament wins in program history while advancing to the regional final, while the women's volleyball reached the national semifinals. Washington University (Mo.) leads the Division III standings with 322 points. Juniata finished 110th in the final 2006-07 NACDA Division III Directors' Cup standings with 171 points; its highest finish was in 1997-98, when the Eagles were 84th in the final Directors' Cup standings. -30-
