HUNTINGDON, Pa. - The Juniata College and University of Pittsburgh-Bradford women's soccer teams played 120 minutes of soccer on Tuesday night, but it turned out to be insufficient time to decide the match as the two squads played to a 0-0 tie at Winton Hill Field in Huntingdon. Eagle keeper Lisa Russo (Haskell, N.J./Lakeland) recorded one save in the Juniata goal, and extended her shutout streak to 323 minutes. Pitt-Bradford's Rebecca Brandt logged 12 saves on the night, as Juniata outshot the Lady Panthers 30-5. Juniata also held a 14-4 advantage in corner kicks, and was whistled for offsides on three occasions. The Eagles (5-1-1, 0-0-0 Landmark) return to action on Thursday evening when they head to Williamsport, Pa., to face Lycoming College.
