SELINSGROVE, Pa. - The Juniata College indoor track teams got the new semester off to a good start with each team claiming several strong finishes at the non-scored Orange & Maroon Classic Friday evening in Selinsgrove. On the men\'s side Randy Anderson (DuBois/DuBois)picked up the only win for the squad as he placed first in the 200. He also added a second-place finish in the long jump on the day. The Eagles also had top-six finishes in the 55-meter dash as Dusty Sier (Smithsburg/Smithsburg, Md.) was second in the race and John West III (W.B. Saul/Philadelphia) added a fifth-place finish in the event. Freshman TJ Breya (East Juniata/McClure) notched a fourth-place finish in the 55-meter hurdles for the Blue and Gold to round out the top-six finishes for the men. On the women\'s side the Eagles picked up one individual victory on the day, and had four top-six efforts. Kelsey Buffenmyer (Donegal/Mount Joy) picked up a victory in the long jump at the meet, and then added a second-place finish in the high jump. Regina Diehl (Camp Hill/Camp Hill) placed fourth in the weight throw at the meet, and Juniata got a sixth-place finish from Meghan Jones (Meadville/Meadville) in the 5,000. Juniata will return to action next Saturday when the Eagles compete in a meet at Dickinson College.
