The 41-member Juniata College Concert Choir will present its fall concert at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 5 in Rosenberger Auditorium of Oller Hall. Directed by James R. White, lecturer of music, and accompanied on piano by junior Leah Dobrowolsky, the concert will feature various music selections certain to please every ear.

Due to the sabbatical leave of Dr. Russell Shelley, James R. White will conduct the Fall 2000 edition of Concert Choir. At Juniata, White serves as instructor of Class Voice and Studio Voice. He began his education at Findlay College with a bachelor?s degree in music education and then pursued his master?s degree in divinity at Colgate Rochester Divinity School. In addition, White has studied at the Vocal and Voice Pedagogy at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary School of Church Music and at The Pennsylvania State University. White appears frequently as a Bass-Baritone soloist at Juniata and throughout central Pennsylvania.

Future events for the Concert Choir include a performance at the Mifflintown Messiah Lutheran Church on Nov. 19. In the spring, the group will tour Trinidad and New York during the month of March.

The concert is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
