Junior Lisa Dumansky (Nutley/Nutley, NJ), a member of the Juniata College women?s tennis team, was named to the Commonwealth Conference all-star squad for her play during the 2000 season.

Dumansky, who played at number one singles and first doubles for the Eagles all year, finished the season with a 4-5 singles mark and a 10-2 record on the court with a partner. She was 14-7 overall for a .667 winning percentage. After dropping her first three solo efforts this fall, Dumansky went on to win three of her next four matches. She was 4-3 in singles' matches during the Commonwealth Conference season.

As for her play in doubles action, she fell in her first outing of the season, but then paired with partners to win five consecutive tilts. She and teammate Liz Osche posted victories in their final five doubles' matches, including four straight in the Middle Atlantic Corporation (MAC) Individual Championship tournament to capture Juniata's first team doubles' crown since the 1977 season.

For her career, Dumansky owns a 21-15 record in singles action, a 25-12 mark in doubles and an impressive 46-27 overall record during her three-year stint.

The Eagles finished the 2000 season with a 6-4 overall record and a 5-2 mark in the Commonwealth Conference.
