FOOTBALL (5-4, 4-4 MAC): Nov. 10, Lycoming.
Juniata turned the ball over 12 times (eight interceptions and four fumbles) during a 69-26 loss at Middle Atlantic Conference foe Widener, which was ranked second in last week's Division III national poll. Freshman quarterback Greg Troutman (Meyersdale/Meyersdale), who was sacked three times completed 23 passes in 53 attempts for 378 yards and four touchdowns but had seven interceptions. Junior quarterback Jon Collins (Lewistown/Lewistown) finished the game on 3-of-6 passing for 16 yards and had an interception. Senior wide receiver Lucas Kelleher (Bishop Guilfoyle/Altoona) had six catches for a team-best 98 yards and a touchdown of 59 yards in the third quarter and senior wide out Josh Chubb (Laurel/Laurel, MD) made six catches for 88 yards and a touchdown of 12 yards (the first of his career), also in the third quarter. Senior wide receiver Andy Radomsky (West Branch/Morrisdale) made five catches for 82 yards and a three-yard touchdown in the third and junior wide receiver Nate Leach (Shade/Central City) pulled in four catches for 95 yards and a touchdown of 66 yards that put the Eagles on the scoreboard with 14:13 left in the second quarter. Evans led all players with 14 tackles, forced a fumble, broke up a pass and returned an interception 40 yards. Senior linebacker Sean Reed (Muncy/Muncy) had 12 tackles, senior linebacker Josh Seiders (Wyomissing/Wyomissing Hills) and sophomore defensive back Brett Merrell (Danville/Danville) each had 11 and senior linebacker Jason Stouffer (Newport/Newport) had 10. Troutman moved into second place on the single-season completion list at Juniata (207) and into first on the attempts ledger (421). His 23 touchdown passes are fourth and his 2,565 yards are fourth in College Hill campaign annals. Troutman is also ranked second in Juniata single-season total offense with 2,834 yards. Leach is sixth on the all-time receptions list (115) and seventh in career receiving yards (1,644) at Juniata, while Kelleher is now eighth in catches (106) and yards (1,618).

MEN'S & WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: Nov. 10, NCAA Regionals at Lehigh.
The Eagles were not in action this past week, but will run at the NCAA Mid-East Regional this coming Saturday.

WOMEN'S SWIMMING: Nov. 10, Albright.
Juniata competed at the co-ed Middle Atlantic Conference Relays hosted by Susquehanna on Saturday and placed fifth out of the seven teams in attendance with 72 points. Albright won the outing with 390 markers. No event results were available at press time.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL (26-8, 7-0 Commonwealth): Nov. 9, Scranton or Eastern (Pa.) at Gettysburg (NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional; Nov. 10 vs. TBA at Gettysburg (NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional).

Juniata, ranked eighth in this past week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Poll, posted its 21st consecutive conference championship with wins over Lebanon Valley, 3-0, and Moravian, 3-1 to earn an automatic bid into the NCAA tournament for a Division III record 21st straight time. On Wednesday, Juniata downed visiting Lebanon Valley, 30-9, 30-8, 30-15. Sophomore outside hitter Kelly Casperson (Columbine/Littleton, CO) had 10 kills, a .474 hitting percentage, six digs, five aces and one block. Junior middle hitter Niki Mueller (Bishop Guilfoyle/Altoona) had seven kills, a .500 attack mark and two rejections. Sophomore outside hitter Johanna Holtan (Fargo North/Fargo, ND) registered seven kills, 12 digs, three blocks and two aces. The Eagles then took care of Moravian on Saturday and the conference finals, 30-23, 28-30, 30-15, 30-16. Sophomore opposite Danielle Hart (Central/Roaring Spring) led Juniata with 17 kills and she also had 14 digs, two blocks and two aces, while Mueller finished with 12 kills, a .333 hitting percentage, four blocks and three digs. Freshman setter Carli Dale (Cochranton/Cochranton) passed out 39 assists and had 13 digs and three aces. Holtan posted 10 kills, a team-best 19 digs, four aces and three blocks. Senior outside hitter Brandy Workinger (Dallastown/Dallastown) ended the match with 12 digs and three aces, while sophomore Melissa Berdine (Pine-Richland/Gibsonia) and sophomore defensive specialist Lauren Beasley (Valencia/Valencia, CA) had 10 and 16 digs, respectively.
