JUNIATA AND UNION AGREE TO NEW CONTRACT

Juniata College and Local 2099 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), which represents the facilities services staff at the college, reached agreement on a new, three-year contract, negotiators announced today.
The existing college-union pact, also a three-year agreement, expired at midnight, June 30.
The IBEW negotiating team consists of Pasquale Gino, international representative; Kennard Coons, Juniata College store keeper; Beverley Sheasley, custodian/storekeeper; and plumber James Brenneman, representing Juniata?s facilities services staff.
Representing the college were Gail Ulrich, director of human resources; Tristan delGiudice, director of facilities services; and James Prozzi, attorney for the college.
The new pact will run through June 30, 2004. The agreement affects 39 Juniata employees.
