English for Academic Purposes Application Instructions

Juniata welcomes students who would like to study English as a Second Language for one or two semesters. 

Please email international@juniata.edu to begin the application process. 

1. You will need to provide electronic copies of financial information to show that you can cover the costs of studying in the English for Academic Purposes program.  These documents include: 

• Affidavit of Support form to apply for an I-20
• Document of Financial guarantee (a bank statement or bank letter, on paper)

Estimated expenses for one semester of EAP study during the 2026-2027 academic year:

• Tuition for IEP: $8,500
• Onboarding Fees: $600 (includes $250 refundable deposit)
• Room and Board: $7,500
• Student Fees: $550
• Sickness and Accident Insurance*:  $975 (fall semester only) / $2,326 (full year) / $1,351 (spring/summer)   
  *insurance rates have not been confirmed for 26-27      

2. An electronic copy of the photo page of your passport
