Student Outcomes in Education

The majority of graduates get full-time teaching jobs right away, although some choose to go to graduate school or find jobs in education-related fields.

Scott Rahner, Jr. '19 is employed as a middle school special education teacher at New Providence School District in New Jersey. In addition, he has graduated from his Master of Arts in Reading program at Montclair State University in New Jersey to obtain the Reading Specialist certification.

Casey Anthony '17 is employed as a bilingual special education teacher at Barbieri Elementary School in Framingham, Massachusetts. 

Erica Chichetti '16 teaches eighth grade science at Lansdowne Middle School in Lansdowne, Maryland. 

Taylor Garraffa '17 teaches third grade at Cottageville Elementary School in Cottageville, South Carolina. 

Steve Guetzlaff '17 joined Teach for America, and is teaching in Cleveland, Ohio. 

Toni Harr '13 was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to pursue an English teaching assistantship in Athens, Greece. 

Emily Kutz '18 was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to teach English to preschool and elementary school students in Madrid, Spain. 

Anna Oldenbrook ’18 was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to teach at a Columbian university as an English Teaching Assistant.

Ian O’Shea ’16 teaches earth and space science at Overhills High School in Harnett County, North Carolina.

Sarah Rudnik ’17 is employed teaching Spanish at Oro Grande High School in Oro Grande, California. 

Stephanie Schmid ’13 is employed as a kindergarten teacher at Cockburn Elementary School in Columbia, Maryland.

Mason Sherry ’18 accepted a job as a history teacher in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Kortney Showers ’15 is currently teaching second grade at Union County School District in Monroe, North Carolina. 

Rachel Smith ’14 is employed as an elementary behavior/learning support teacher in the Baltimore County School District.

Kevin Snyder ’14 is currently teaching math at Butler Area School District in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Megan Vanaman ’15 accepted a Fulbright Fellowship to teach English in the Czech Republic.

Caroline White ’13 is employed as a sixth grade learning support educator in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
