Zhorea is an Altoona, PA native and proud Juniata College alum. During her time at Juniata, Zhorea studied abroad twice, led the Study Abroad Club, conducted biochemistry research, and founded a scholarship to support global learning. Outside of on-campus activities, Zhorea explored her interests in public health by participating in internships with the Shepherd Higher Education Consortium on Poverty, UPMC Altoona Family Physicians, and The American Association of University Women.

Her professional career spans public health and community development roles. Among her most meaningful post-graduate experiences was during her year of national service with AmeriCorps, where she assisted families impacted by social determinants of health and guided high school students exploring healthcare careers.

Outside of work, Zhorea enjoys crocheting, drawing, gaming, spending time with her dogs, and staying active through tennis and swimming. She is excited to be back at Juniata College and is committed to supporting students as they explore their individual college paths and achieve their goals."
