Students will learn to interpret professional standards in financial accounting, managerial accounting, tax practices, and attestation, while also applying complex accounting theory and practices in real-world business settings. They will build strong analytical skills to recommend sound business decisions and communicate effectively through professional writing and speaking. In addition, graduates will evaluate the broader economic, ethical, social, political, legal, regulatory, and global contexts of accounting challenges and, through teamwork and the case method, propose practical solutions to complex issues.

Entry into the MAcc program requires an earned bachelor’s degree along with the following prerequisites: accounting, business, economics, mathematics, and statistics courses.
