"Time after time, my students have expressed that the presentations are the ‘best part’
of learning a foreign language. They’ve heard a variety of topics—they’ve heard a
variety of speakers. They’ve experienced novice English speakers and those who were
fluent. Overall, this has helped them to not be afraid to make mistakes. I would like
to think that it has helped to broaden their narrow worldviews as well. They have
realized that it takes a lot of courage to become a student studying abroad…and that
other countries have people just like them! I have enjoyed learning along with my
students.”
