Mission:
Juniata College offers Peer-tutoring in several select content areas. Students may use Walk-in Tutoring, no appointment required, to meet with a tutor at no cost. Walk-in Tutoring sessions are scheduled multiple times per week in classroom spaces that allow students to work one-on-one and in small groups with a Peer-Tutor.
The mission of the Peer-Tutoring Program is to provide a learner centered experience based on interaction, collaboration, and reinforcement of academic content foundations. Tutees working directly with Tutors experienced and accomplished in the course content areas can provide a foundation for confidence and academic success.

Students seeking help in a course content area not listed above should start by meeting with their professor to discuss problems and receive guidance.

Peer-Tutors are students in good academic standing who have been recommended by faculty based on academic performance in the course content area. Student privacy and respect are core values for all Peer-Tutors.
