Local High School Students To Have Art Exhibited in German Campus Week Exhibition

Huntingdon, Pa. – On Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, Juniata College will host an exhibition of local high school students’ artwork alongside artwork from the campus community in the College’s newest facility, Kepple Hall. The art being displayed includes entries into the German Campus Week photo contest.

Juniata College Professor, Program Earn Global Engagement Initiative Award

Huntingdon, Pa. – Juniata College has been awarded the Global Engagement Initiative Award for their Spanish and Service Learning in Guatemala immersion program from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). The creator of the immersion program, Henry Thurston-Griswold, professor of Spanish at Juniata, will accept the award on behalf of Juniata College on Friday, Nov. 17 at ACTFL’s Annual Convention & World Languages Expo in Nashville, Tenn.

Juniata College Presents Rare Picasso Collection

Huntingdon, Pa. -- Beginning Nov. 16, the Juniata College Museum of Art will present a rare collection of Pablo Picasso’s lithographs titled, “Picasso’s Imaginary Portraits” as part of “Mining the Museum: A Student-Driven Project.” The exhibition will continue until Mar. 3, 2018. The Museum is free and open to the public.
