DUBOIS, Pa. - The Juniata College men\'s basketball team could not carry the momentum from a big win earlier in the week to its next game as the Eagles suffered a 62-61 loss to Penn State-Dubois Saturday afternoon. The loss dropped Juniata to 5-7 on the year. Chris Jasiota (Oil City/Oil City) scored 17 points by shooting 8 of 10 from the field, but it was not enough to help the Eagles overcome a torrid shooting effort from the home team. Penn State-Duboi hit 54 percent of its shots from the field, and knocked down 11 three-point shots to help propel them to the win. Juniata got off to a slow start, falling behind 35-27 at halftime. The Eagles were able to battle their way back into the game, going back-and-forth with the home team throughout the second half. But struggles at the free throw line, where Juniata was just 11-18 on the day, hurt the team down the stretch. Nick Hager (Franklin/Franklin) added 13 points for Juniata on the day as he hit a pair of threes. Those were the only triples Juniata had on the game, as the team was 2-11 in threes. Aaron Chamberlain (Tussey Mountain/Wood) grabbed seven rebounds to lead the team. Marcus Genevro scored several bit baskets down the stretch for Penn State-Dubois and also led the team with 16 points. He hit four three-point shots on the day, including three in the second half. Dylan Howard added 15 points which came on five three pointers, all of which he hit in the first half. Juniata will be back in action on Monday as the Eagles host Gallaudet. ###
