Director of Annual Giving
Miranda Peruso joined the Juniata Development staff as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving in August 2008, bringing experience as the Assistant Administrator for Annual Funds for the Altoona-Johnstown Catholic Diocese, Development Officer for the Penn State Catholic Community, and being a Sales Director with Mary Kay cosmetics. A 2000 graduate of Juniata College with a business/communication degree, Miranda also spent time as a news reporter and videographer with the local NBC affiliate in the Altoona-Johnstown market.
Miranda is also actively involved in the Huntingdon community, serving on the Huntingdon County United Way Board of Directors and also serving on the JC Blair Memorial Hospital Auxiliary board. She is a member and past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Order of Amaranth. She has previously served on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Advisory Council, the Huntingdon County Humane Society's Bark and Whine event, the Huntingdon Area Habitat for Humanity Night at the Races event and served as Co-Chair of the JC Blair Memorial Hospital Charity Ball.
Miranda's husband, Dom, is professor of accounting and chair of the Accounting, Business and Economics Department at Juniata and a drummer in his spare time. They are the proud parents of Dominick III and Madeleine. An avid reader, Miranda also enjoys traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and participating in Zumba.
