Melissa has been working as a Staff Counselor at Juniata College since 2018 and has been loving every minute of it! She is a ’99 graduate of Juniata and went on to receive her Master’s in Social Work. She has spent the last 20 years dedicating her life to promoting wellness around her. When working with her, you will find Melissa to be relaxed, easy-going and compassionate. Expect to laugh at least once per session because humor is important and a great way to diffuse some of our bigger feelings. Melissa is a lover of nature, music, relaxation and self-expression. She supports building positive relationships, kindness in this ever-changing world, self-compassion and staying true to who you are. She values peace, love and differences among others and will work with you to help you find a safe place to grow from.
