Early Childhood Conference
Juniata hosts an annual conference in the spring for Early Childhood and Early Intervention Educators and Providers who work with children ages birth through eight. The conference is jointly sponsored by the Juniata College Education Department, Juniata Valley Mental Health/Mental Retardation, Tuscarora Intermediate Unit 11, Early Intervention Technical Assistance, and the Penn State Cooperative extension of Huntingdon County.
Science Olympiad State Final Competition
The Science Olympiad is a national nonprofit organization devoted to improving the quality of science education for both teachers and students. One of several ways these goals are accomplished is through competition in district, regional, state and national academic interscholastic tournaments.
