The concert is free and open to the public. The recitals are part of Juniata's Liberal Arts Symposium.

The first recital features Jamey Brumbaugh, a sophomore from Altoona, Pa., who will perform a voice recital, singing "Go Lovely Rose," by Roger Quilter, a British composer noted for his art songs. Later in the program, Brumbaugh will perform "Bring Him Home," a song from "Les Miserables" by Claude-Michel Schonberg.

Patrick Rea, a senior from Hollidaysburg, Pa., will perform a solo piano piece, "Prelude in D Major, Op. 23, No. 5" by Sergei Rachmaninoff. Rachmaninoff was a Romantic-era musician, and such a selection represents the composer's emotion-driven style.

Abigail Long, a high school student from Hesston, Pa. and a cello studio student at Juniata, will perform a solo cello composition, "Chason Triste," by Pyotr Illyich Tchaikovsky. Tchaikovsky wrote this melancholy work, translated as "Sad Song," in 1878.
Adam Lescallette, a senior from Hershey, Pa., will perform "Elegie in E-flat Minor, Op. 3 No. 1" by Sergei Rachmaninoff.
