HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Five Juniata College seniors will perform in the college's Honors Recital at 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, in Rosenberger Auditorium in the Halbritter Center for the Performing Arts.

The event is free and open to the public.

The recital will begin with mezzo-soprano Kaitlyn Shultz, a senior from Johnstown, Pa. Shultz will sing Antonio Vivaldi's "Quia Fecit for Chiaretta" followed by "Et Exultavit for Apollonia," both from Vivaldi's "Magnificat."

Andrew Orsie, a senior from Summit Point, W.Va., will break up the vocal pieces with a piano performance, playing Johannes Brahms's "Rhapsody in G Minor -- Op. 79, No. 2."

After Orsie, senior Sara Holtzinger, from York, Pa. will sing Roger Quilter's "Dream Valley" and Robert Shumann's "Widmung."

Katerina Korch, a senior cellist from Shillington, Pa., will play "Cello Concerto in C major," by Joseph Haydn.

Andrew Orsie will conclude the recital with vocal performances of Peter Tchaikovsky's "In the Midst of the Ball" and Georges Bizet's "Ouvre Ton Coeur."

Juniata College mathematics professor Ben Sunderland will serve as the piano accompanist for all performances.
