HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Five students from Juniata College, including two residents of Huntingdon County, will receive a ceremonial $25,000 check from the college's JCEL Student Seed Capital Fund in support of a new business enterprise called Techno-Mango LLC at 5 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, in the Baxter Studio in the Sill Business Incubator at 419 14th St.

Techno Mango is a five-person firm comprised of students studying information technology and computer science who will provide services to local and regional clients in such areas of specialization as software development, applications, programming, coding, hardware assembly and web site design/development services.

The students involved in the enterprise are: Kuba, Szulaczkowski, a junior, and president of the company, from Basking Ridge, N.J.; Aimee Reinaker, a senior, and treasurer, from Danville, Pa.; Elizabeth Donovan, a junior, and secretary of the company, from Apalachin, N.Y.; Michael Cassatt, a junior from Shirleysburg, Pa.; and David Lamberson, a sophomore from Alexandria, Pa.

Each student in the venture has received $5,000 from the JCEL Student Seed Capital Fund, funds that have been earmarked by the Huntingdon County Keystone Innovation Zone for new ventures that fall within certain types of industries, such as information technology, life sciences, environmental/renewable energy and advanced manufacturing.

Keystone Innovation Zones are state-sponsored economic development programs hosted locally by Huntingdon County Business & Industry and Juniata College. It promotes the development of business in and around Huntingdon County for IT, life sciences, manufacturing and environmental/renewable energy categories.

The ceremonial check for $25,000 will be presented by John Hille, executive vice president of enrollment and retention at Juniata, in the Baxter Entrepreneurial Studio on the second floor of the Bob and Eileen Sill Business Incubator. After the presentation, Hille, Nick Felice, director of JCEL, and the student entrepreneurs will host a tour ofTechno Mango's offices in Suite 210 and tours of the recently completed incubator facility.
