SCRANTON, Pa. -- Molly Sellars (Caldwell, Nj./Caldwell) had the lone goal for the Eagles, yet Juniata women's soccer was unable to match The University of Scranton's lead, resulting in a 3-1 loss in its last regular season Landmark Conference game, in Scranton, Pa.

Sellars scored in the 90th minute of the match, after three consecutive goals from the Royals. Caroline Corasaniti scored just three minutes into the match to start the lead for Scranton with an assist from Samantha Russo. Russo then scored the second goal in the 11th minute. Chelsea Paskman connected with Russo off of a through ball in the 69th minute to put the Royals up 3-0.

Caitlin Bigelow (La Mesa, Ca./The Academy of Our Lady of Peace) tallied the most shots for Juniata with four.

Juniata was out shot 18-8 and out-cornered 5-3 by Scranton.

Gabriella Ricciardi (Massepequa, N.Y./Massapequa) played all 90 minutes in goal for the Eagles, making four saves and allowing three goals. Caitlyn Byrne defended the net for the Royals, making three saves and allowing one goal throughout the match.

The Eagles will play at Winton Hill Field against Franklin and Marshall College this Wednesday at 3:00 pm.
