HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Political policy expert Steven Hayward will give a talk at Juniata College at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at Neff Lecture Hall in the Von Liebig Center For Science. He has written several books that cover a wide range of topics from biographies of prominent past political figures to environmental and energy topics.

This event is free and open to the public.

Hayward is best known for his biographical work of Ronald Reagan. His book, "The Age of Reagan: The Fall of the Old Liberal Order" gets to the heart of the tumultuous political era of the 1960s and '70s and continues to follow Reagan as he assumes the Presidency.

Hayward is an accomplished author and has written four books. In his second book, "Churchill on Leadership," he discusses the political and military brilliance of Winston Churchill and the former British Prime Minister's strengths as a leader during World War II.

In addition to his books, Hayward has contributed opinion pieces to prestigious papers such as the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Chicago Tribune. His writings cover a wide range of important issues including environmentalism, public policy, and economics.

Hayward also helped produce the movie, "An Inconvenient Truth�?�Or Convenient Fiction?" the film was a rebuttal to the Oscar-winning environmental documentary produced by Al Gore in 2006.

Hayward is also a F. K. Weyerhaeuser Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and Senior Fellow at the Pacific Research Institute.
