HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College women's volleyball team dropped one spot in this week's national rankings, while the Eagle field hockey team made its way back into the Division III poll after an absence of two weeks.

Women's volleyball (20-3) slipped to no. 3 in the AVCA Division III Top 25, after losses to Division II Clarion University and no. 11 Wisconsin-Whitewater last week. Washington-St. Louis (21-0) remained on top of the D-III poll with all 24 first-place votes, while previously third-ranked Emory (17-3) jumped ahead of Juniata into the number two spot.

Trailing Juniata is Wittenberg (18-2) in fourth place, while Christopher Newport moved up one spot to fifth place. Eastern University (19-1), who will join Emory University and Williams College in next week's Wid Guisler Invitational, switched spots with Christopher Newport and fell to sixth.

Field hockey (12-3) moved back into the NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll on the strength of a 4-2 Landmark Conference win over 13th-ranked Catholic University. The Eagles are ranked 20th, just five points behind 19th-ranked Amherst College. Catholic (9-2) remained in the poll, slipping one spot to no. 14.
