BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Juniata College field hockey team traveled to Landmark Conference opponent, Moravian College, on Saturday afternoon to edge the Greyhounds, 2-1, in the last few minutes of overtime.

The Eagles and the Greyhounds battled a close match at Betty Prince Field. After 43 minutes of back and forth competition, senior Paula Price (Camp Hill, Pa./East Pennsboro) found the back of the net first. Becky Renaldo responded 11 minutes later off of a corner to match the Eagles' goal.

In the second period alone, Juniata tallied 13 shots compared to three from Moravian.

The Eagles outshot the Greyhounds 26-7 overall. They also had a 13-6 advantage in penalty corners.

Juniata goalie Moira Nugent (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) made four saves in her 76 minutes in the Eagle cage. Moravian goalie Catherine Gottlieb recorded 15 saves in her 76 minutes in goal and was charged with the two goals allowed.
