GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Two early goals was too much to match for Juniata College men's soccer Tuesday afternoon as they fell to Grove City College 3-0 in Grove City, Pa.

Two back-to-back early goals in the first 12 minutes of the match proved to be the lead that Grove City needed to win the match this afternoon. Andrew Quinn gave the Wolverines their lead, scoring in the seventh minute and again in the 12th minute off an assist from Jake Kern. In the 74th minute Andrew Wiley had an insurance goal.

Tyler Morelli (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area), Greg Hess (Hanover, Pa./South Western), and Ben Lang (Alexandria, Pa./Huntingdon) each shared a shot on goal for the Eagles.

Grove City outshot Juniata with 14-3 edge and also had a 9-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Juniata keeper Brian Trinclisti (Lewistown, Pa./Lewistown) recorded seven saves in 90 minutes of work. Chris Burgan defended the net for the Wolverines and made two saves in 90 minutes.

Next, Juniata hosts Landmark Conference opponent Moravian College at Winton Hill Field Saturday to play a 1:00 pm. game.
