Huntingdon, Pa. -- Juniata College men's soccer kept its winning streak alive as it shut out Delaware Valley College 3-0 Wednesday afternoon at Winton Hill Field.

After 35 scoreless minutes, they found their rhythm toward the end of the first half. Ben Tritsch (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) scored off an assist from Kyle Roberts (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) just inside the 18 yard box to break the dead even match in the 36th minute. Just three minutes later, freshman Anthony Glossner (Centre Hall, Pa./Penns Valley) finished off of an assist from Austin Nace, (Littlestown, Pa./Littlestown) also a freshman.

In the second half, Juniata came out with a bit more fire and also possessed the ball more than the first half. In the 60th minute, Greg Hess (Hanover, Pa./South Western) slipped the third and final goal in off a cross from David Grim (Boalsburg, Pa./State College Area).

Juniata had an overall advantage in the game with 12 shots compared to Delaware Valley's eight, and five corner kicks compared to Delaware Valley's three.

Juniata keeper Ezra Cassel (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) recorded five saves while playing all 90 minutes in the Eagle goal, increasing his number of shutouts to three. Tristan Preece recorded two saves in the Delaware Valley goal, playing all 90 minutes as well.

Juniata (5-1) hosts U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on Saturday, Sept. 18 scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. start time.
