Huntingdon, Pa. - Brandy Preslovich (Bald Eagle Area/Moshannon), a senior shortstop on the Juniata College baseball team has been named the Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week. It marks her first Player of the Week honor of the season.

Preslovich helped Juniata to a 4-2 week by hitting .529, scoring seven runs and knocking in three more during six Commonwealth Conference games. She opened the week by going 1 for 4, including a double, with a run scored during a 6-0 win over Lebanon Valley, and she completed the twinbill against the Dutchwomen by going 3 for 3 with three RBI, two runs scored, a home run and a stolen base in a 7-2 Juniata triumph. In the second game of a doubleheader at Susquehanna, Preslovich was 1 for 2 with a pair of walks during an 11-inning setback to the hosts. On Saturday, Preslovich was 3 for 4 with a double, a stolen base and three runs scored during a 6-0 win over Messiah. She closed the week by scoring the only run of a 1-0 win over Messiah. She was 1 for 1 with a run scored, two walks and a stolen base in the game.

For the season, Preslovich hit a team-best .433, marking the third time in four years that she posted a .400-or-better average at the plate. She also paced the unit in runs scored (24), hits (39), doubles (15) and RBI (19). Preslovich also had nine steals, a .495 on-base percentage and a .667 slugging percentage.
She ended her career ranked first in batting average (.395), runs scored (62), doubles (36) and RBI (56) on the Juniata career lists.

Juniata ended the year with a 14-14 overall record and a 5-7 mark in Commonwealth Conference play.
