SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Susquehanna University's Jim Robertiello scored with just 6:13 remaining in regulation to lift the Crusaders past Juniata College, 2-1, in Landmark Conference men's soccer on Tuesday night at Sassafras Field.

Trailing 1-0 at the halfway mark, Juniata's Drew Steffen (Lewisberry, Pa./Red Land) knotted the game at 1-1 with an unassisted goal in the 54th minute. Steffen collected a loose ball inside the 18-yard box and finished past Crusader keeper Pat Horan for the goal, the fifth of the season for the senior midfielder.

Juniata (6-9-0, 1-5-0 Landmark) held Susquehanna at bay for much of the next 30 minutes of play, despite getting outshot by the Crusaders 4-1 during that stretch. The Eagles were also forced to play a man short for much of the second half, following a red card issued to Chris Engle (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) in the 56th minute.

Susquehanna (6-9-1, 2-3-0 Landmark) notched what proved to be the game-winner, shortly after a corner kick with 6:52 showing on the clock. The Crusaders' John Arnold made a centering pass to Robertiello, who beat Eagle keeper Joe Kohler (Vienna, Va./James Madison). Robertiello also had Susquehanna's first goal in the 10th minute, off an assist from Austin Gordon.

Juniata's lone shot on goal of the game came shortly before Susquehanna logged the game winner, when Jeffrey Gring's (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) attempt was stopped by Horan.

Susquehanna outshot Juniata 15-3, and had a 13-2 advantage in corner kick opportunities. Kohler finished with two saves, and was charged with both goals scored in the loss.

Juniata returns home to close out the Landmark Conference slate, when it hosts the University of Scranton on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 3:30 p.m. on Winton Hill Field.
